Cmd (Win) key didn’t open Windows Start menu on remote PC

I cannot use Cmd key on keyboard to open Start menu in remote PC. It simply does nothing. Please, fix it. OS X Sierra 10.12.2

Constantly shuts down

For no reason, the app shuts down randomly. This is only happening since I updated to the recent version. Practically unusable at this point and this is an essential app for me to have for work. Please fix this.

Major problems with this release

I don’t typically add remarks regarding software releases but this edition of Parallels Client is very, very bad and I’m surprised it was released. The app has serious problems adjusting video on multi-monitor configurations and crashes almost as soon as it is launched. I rolled back to the prior version to recover. I’m on macOS Sierra and the older version of the app runs just fine. I suppose if you only use this release on a single monitor it might perform better. That could account for the 36 “5 star” ratings. It would be nice to have the ability to “skip” an update and not be hounded by reminders every morning. I would give this release a “zero” rating but since that isn’t available, it gets a 1. Please fix this. I rely on the app to do my job.

As good as expected

Very fast to download, configure and execute : so perfect for me !!!

Still buggy and no support ...

Experiencing frequent freezes with latest version. Forced to quit the app to reconnect to a RDP session. Since rebranding from 2X RDP to Parallels 2X Im also experiencing huge problems with mouse cursor. (Both on Yosemite and El Capitan) Im losing several minutes every day trying to get my cursor display back. Called Parallels support as we also have a Parallels Desktop Business licence and they provide no support for this product ... unless you have a Parallels Remote Application Server license. Please fix these quickly. Ill review my voting then.

By far the best RDP Client Available!

Including the one from Microsoft. And I tested some (including several to pay for). - Instantan Cursor Animation (e.g., to increase a window size) this is often not the case which makes it difficult to "see" if e.g.. resizing is possible (at a position) - Multiple Screens support - Correct Key Binding (e.g., Windows Explorer with <Command>+E) out of the box.

Still a far cry from Cord

I cant send Window keys and it isnt true full screen.

Crash with Macbook Air

it was working smoothly until the last update last week. Now, it is unstable and crashing frequently. Please review the last version, there is something wrong in it. thanks.

Great App

This app is better than one’s I’ve paid for. Can’t get the Microsoft app to work with multiple monitors. This one just works by simply clicking the checkbox to use multiple monitors. This app is slow painting the background on initial display, but windows and response are fast once it is up & running. This app is worth something to support ongoing development.

It’s so much better than MS RDP client

It’s so much better than MS RDP client

NICE - go even better

AUTO SORT of RDP’s, just got added.. Nice!!! This is even better than trying to sort manually. Awesome keyboard capture for local keyboard layout.. this is the best feature that this application has heads up on all others I’ve tried and used over the years. Excellent work!! — oups.. cannot use the key containing « / | », and some other combined keys, which are very useful as a sys admin.. :( UPDATE SEPT 24th, 2015 … still cannot use key containing « / | » on the French Canadian Multilingual Keyboard. Changed rating.. :(

Lack of supporting Japansese keyboard

It’s great product but I can’t continue to use this for proramming because _ (undescore), and | (shift+) key weren’t input it was connected to Windows7. My client is MBA 2012 Japanese keyboard.

Able to connect to MS Terminal Services on Win2008R2

This app is able to connect to Win2008 R2 running Terminal Services in "per user" licensing mode. Native MS client drops connection each time with an error.

Does not support NLA

The app is free, however, it cannot connect to a server with NLA. It says "disable CredSSP and connect again", meaning "compromise your security somewhat to use me".

Faster and better than CoRD

Theres no way to duplicate a connection or to change default settings, so if you want to connect to sessions with anything other than the program defaults, you have to change them on each one individually. That gets tedious when you have dozens of RDP connections to manage. Otherwise, its way faster than CoRD and the official Mac RDP client from Microsoft – and a lot less buggy so far.

Love it

Never a big fan of Win RDC for Mac. I have been using Cord for a year or two. Not a bad application although it is rarely updated and has a few annoying glitches. Stumbled upon 2x and decided to give it a try. Fabulous. Much faster than Cord. Modern UI. None of the annoying glitches I noted with Cord. I connect to a Win 08 terminal server…no probs. Highly recommended.

Its OK, but could be better

I like the sidebar function of CORD and being able to manage all the connections in a single window. Having only the option of opening RDP sessions without consodlidating all connections in a single window and a side menu to manage all your connections is a show breaker for me. 2X is good, having the sidebar function like CORD and single window consolidation for all connections would put it so much closer to GREAT. Hello… anyone listening…

Disable CredSSP

Might be a great app, but cant connect to my Windows 8 desktop unless I disable CredSSP. Other clients didnt require me to do that. Bummer.
