Will not connect to Windows 2000 Server over VPN

Maybe the server is too old, but all I get is a black screen when I try to connect with this. RDC works just fine, though I do have to use an older version as the lastest one crashes on connect. Probably related to that. Looks nicer and has potential, but I cant use it :)
